St Kilda Legal Service has partnered with Thorne Harbour Health (THH) (formerly the Victorian AIDS Council) to establish Victoria’s first dedicated LGBTIQ outreach lawyer.
Our LGBTIQ outreach lawyer can provide information, legal advice and a limited amount of casework to members of the LGBTIQ community across Victoria in a number of areas of law including fines and debt, Centrelink appeals, family violence, discrimination, issues around name changes, criminal law and more.
To enquire about making an appointment please contact SKLS LGBTIQ Outreach Lawyer, Sam Elkin (they/them), by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 0490 086 090.
Appointments will predominantly occur at THH (615 St Kilda Rd, Melbourne), however appointments may also be conducted by telephone or skype for those who live regionally or who will otherwise find it difficult to access THH.
Our LGBTIQ outreach lawyer can also make time to meet with LGBTIQ support groups, workers and advocacy organisations to discuss legal rights and distribute information.
If you would like our LGBTIQ outreach lawyer to visit your organisation, please get in touch.
